Is This An Instrument? (TEST)

Why can't we make music out of every day objects? – We can, and we shall We are going to be presented with everyday items that are not known for their instrument-ness

And our task, Rhett, is going to work together I left a word out, to be- – Yeah – To work together – I understood where you were going – And make them musical instruments

Can we do it? Let's find out (horn music) – Okay, our first item is– – [Link] The jacket, like a windbreaker – This is a wind breaker Windbreaker, lots of potential, here – Oh, zipper, zipper, zipper, zipper

– Zippers and squishy-squishies (zipper squeaking) You wanna be zipper man, I'll be squishy man? – Yeah, I'll be zipper man (zipper rustling) – You think the navy sounds different than the green? – This thing stinks – Oh, actually, listen (jacket rustling) The green's got a lot more noise in it

(jacket rustling) Who knew that dark colors– – We're discovering stuff – Absorb sound? – Alright, I'm ready Hit the music, let's see if can make it– (funky music) (jacket rustling) – We gotta compliment each other (zipper rustling) You can't fill all the space with the zips, that's what I'm saying – Oh, really? – Let's compliment each other

– Okay (funky music) (zipper rustling) (jacket rustling) (zipper rustling) (jacket rustling) (zipper rustling) (jacket rustling) (zipper rustling) (jacket rustling) (zipper rustling) (jacket and zipper rustling) And stop! – Wow! (crew laughing) Wow, we could be a band – Wow! – Wow, just give us a couple windbreakers and a backing track– – Wow! – And stand back (horn music) – Oh, an almost empty ketchup bottle Okay, yeah

Here's the burger, but we're not gonna make the burger the instrument This fart-maker right here, oh! – There's only so much, though, you got so many farts, you know? – But you've also got what you just did– (ketchup bottle opening) – That's once the farts are over Once the farts are over, you go to bottle noises And once the bottle noises are over, you go to burger noises – Okay, so save the farts for the track

– That's what I always say – Okay – Hit it (polka music) (ketchup bottles squishing) – It's not farting enough (ketchup bottles squishing) – Now you go to that thing, and I'll do burger

– Oh (ketchup cap clicking) (burger slapping) (ketchup cap clicking) – Oh, come on, man! (ketchup bottle squishing) (burger slapping) – I think I can suck a fart back up in here – Oh, come on, I've tried that (ketchup bottle squishing) I think we've exhausted this to its full potential (horn music) – Oh, coffee– – Grinder

– Grinder – Its pretty much got one– (coffee grinding) – Whoa! (Rhett laughing) That is–it doesn't just have one (coffee rattling) – Oh, ah, yeah Percussion! (coffee rattling) You gonna be that guy, and I'll be this guy? – Okay – Okay

Hit the music (upbeat techno music) – Oh, oh, oh, oh! (coffee grinding) (coffee grinding) (tapping coffee grinder) (coffee grinding) (tapping coffee grinder) (coffee grinding) (tapping coffee grinder) (coffee grinding) (rhythmic coffee grinding) – I ground all the coffee up! – What? (coffee grinding) – I got new coffee (crew laughing) – You've frozen Whoa, look at your, look at your hair, man – I was really excited about some, doing some more, man! – Hit it again! (rhythmic tapping and coffee grinding) Oh, mine's stuck! Mine's stuck! (coffee grinding) I can't get mine to stop

(Link screaming) (coffee grinding) Good gosh, before the man loses his coif entirely (crew laughing) That was a good one Ketchup kind of sucked compared to this – I love coffee – I got more coffee! (Link screaming) (Rhett laughing) I got more coffee! – We need to go to the raves

– You've unhinged, man – We should go to the raves with just a pound of coffee and a couple of grinders (horn music) – We got some steak, hot plates, some tongs, and some butter, so – I'll load them up – We're gonna make, we're gonna make a sizzle symphony here

(butter sizzling) – [Rhett] Oh, yeah ♪ Butter your pan if you can ♪ ♪ If you think you're the man ♪ ♪ Butter your pan ♪ – Alright, grab me a steak Or, I'll do that myself – Alright, so we're gonna hit the music before we lay the steak And I think it's more of a like percussively– – Yeah, it's like a high-hat

It's like a high-hat – It's like a high-hat? – Or a symbol Alright, hit it (fan whirring) ("She'll Be Coming Round the Mountain") (steak sizzling) ♪ She'll be coming 'round the mountain when she comes ♪ ♪ She'll be coming 'round the mountain when she comes ♪ ♪ She'll be coming 'round the mountain ♪ ♪ She'll be coming 'round the mountain ♪ ♪ She'll be coming 'round the mountain when she comes ♪ ♪ She'll be riding six white horses when she comes ♪ ♪ She'll be riding six white horses when she comes ♪ ♪ She'll be riding six white horses ♪ ♪ She'll be riding six white horses ♪ ♪ She'll be riding six white horses when she comes ♪ – I think she rides six horses (mumbles) ♪ Where'd she get them white horses ♪ ♪ From ♪ ♪ We'll just have to meet her when she comes ♪ ♪ We'll all come out to meet her ♪ ♪ She's been (mumbling gibberish) ♪ (mumbling gibberish) – Woo! Gather 'round the chuck wagon, we just made us a meal! And some music – It's a little rare
